Who is Jenn Tasnim Savage?
I am an eternal seeker of truth, a wife and mother of two young boys, and a serial entrepreneur. I am intensely curious, and committed to the journey of unveiling my heart in its pursuit of truth – not truth as defined by my limited awareness and the needs of my ego, but ultimate, eternal, Divine Truth. This truth has no agenda save for simply being, and serving, and teaching me what I am here to learn: the kind of Truth that guides me back home.
I am a woman who is committed to awakening fully to my Divine Purpose, and I’m doing my best to fulfill it both on the inner, and the outer. I am a women who feels called to deeply serve humanity, and I want to take my inner knowing and passion and make a profound difference in the lives of those I am blessed enough to guide, teach and help to heal.
Twenty years ago I was in a lot of emotional pain. I was insecure, caught in a web of addictions and was struggling with debilitating depression. In an effort to find some kind of solace and inner peace, I began studying healing of all kinds – and I did so voraciously, testing out every possible path of healing I could find.
In 1996, I attended The East West College of Healing Arts where I studied massage therapy, and eventually found my way to body-mind medicine, energy work and spiritual healing. I immersed myself in the teachings of Dan Milman, Deepak Chopra, Carolyn Myss and many others, and spent the next 15 years in pursuit of Truth and healing, through teachings from every corner of the globe.
In the spring of 2001, I lost my “personal transformation partner” to suicide. On his birthday, and six months after his death, I was visited by his spirit. He led me on a journey which ended with me having many profound realizations about life and death. I was blessed to witness the incredible care that God puts into every moment of our lives. I came off the mountain that day gifted with many lessons – including how incredibly important it is to show up for the miraculous life I have been given, even when I don’t feel like it.
I have experienced deep personal healing and feel humbled to have found my spiritual home in Sufism, the mystical teachings of Islam. I am now a Master Sufi teacher and student of Sidi al Jamal from the Dome of the Rock on the Mount of Olives in the Holy City of Jerusalem. I have used these ancient and sacred teachings, along with lessons from my personal healing journey, as the foundation of my healing work. For over 12 years I have been helping women (and couples) heal their hearts and return to the Love.
